I’ve thought for a while now that some of Sen. Obama’s supporters would get around to telling voters that if he doesn’t win, we’re letting ourselves in for a race war that will dwarf the riots of 1968.
Today Philadelphia Daily News columnist Fatimah Ali says just that:
If McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war, fueled by a deflated and depressed country, soaring crime, homelessness - and hopelessness!Ali also tells us what we can hope for if we elect The One:
Obama understands that people are suffering. Every week, prices go up at the supermarket, and people are unable to feed their families. It already is dark and stormy for millions, who can't even afford pencils, book bags and lunch money for their children.Ali’s entire column's here.
But when Obama wins the White House, we may just see a revolution that can turn the tide and improve this nation for everyone, not just a select few.
I hope many pundits supporting Sen. Obama will speak out and label Ali’s inflammatory words for what they are: bad for all Americans, and particularly bad for minorities.

I'm afraid Ali is correct; some elements of our Black population have a history of reacting that way when things aren't to their liking. If there is a McCain-Palin victory, White folks would be wise to avoid the inner cities of the country.

I think Ali may be right. TO the great sorrow of the intelligent and patriotic blak people in this country who do not agree or support this anarchy. And to the great detriment of the advances made in race relations in this country.
Obama scares me.
Charles Krauthammer said it best in last Sunday's column: The Democratic party may find itself like the gal who went to a party, got drunk, and work up the next morning and saw the ring on her finger but couldn't remember why she married the stranger. (Paraphrased). When THINKING Democrats start abandoning the ship, realizing the potential consequences for their political future, we better take notice.
This country was founded out of rebellion against a bully. Why would Obamaites think they could win by the bully threat?
What's the price of arugula up to today? I'm very concerned.
