See the Dems praising Raines & Fannie Mae

It's a powerful 9 minute video of C-SPAN clips of a House committee hearing a few years back brought on by a regulatory report sharply critical of Fannie Mae, then under the management of Obama advisor and grafter Franklin Raines.

The video leaves no doubt of the Republican members awareness and concern with the mismanagement, including "cooking the books," taking place at Fannie Mae.

And you get to see the Dems speaking up and praising Raines, attacking the government regulator who reported on Fannie's problems and assuring us all: "No problems."

Give it a look and pass it on to friends.

This video has clips from a subcommittee hearing held on Oct. 6, 2004. "THE OFHEO REPORT: ALLEGATIONS OF ACCOUNTING AND
MANAGEMENT FAILURE AT FANNIE MAE."
Committee on Financial Services -- Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Enterprises.

The House transcript is here. This website has two panes. The upper is the hearing transcript; the lower is an Index of Members with links to all of their statements. I checked Christopher Shays (R-Ct) and found his videotaped remarks in the transcript. Interestingly, I didn't find those of Gregory Meeks (D-NY). Presumably, he edited out his most memorable quips prior to publication.

Of the four featured Cassandras, three (Ed Royce R-Ca; Christopher Shays R-Ct; Don Manzullo, R-Il) are running for re-election; one (Richard Baker R-La) has left Congress. Of the featured GSE Abuse Enablers, all five (Maxine Waters D-Ca; Gregory Meeks D-NY; William Lacy Clay D-Mo; Artur Davis D-Al; Barney Frank D-Ma) are Members In Good Standing.

Take a position--doesn't matter how wrong.
Say something--anything.
Run for re-election, and win.

Nice work if you can get it.

Now call me a racist if you will, but here's what I see on this Youtube clip:
I see Black politicians verbally abusing White civil servants. I see Black politicians lying through their teeth when confronted by uncomfortable facts by White politicians. I see a Black CEO cheating his investors, American taxpayers, and the American economy.
I see Maxine Waters, a Black radical crypto-communist who isn't able to make an extemporaneous diatribe--she has to have it written by someone else and printed so she can read it.
And now the Democrats want us to vote for another Black politician who thinks the sun rises and sets on Franklin Delano Raines?? I don't think so.
