At trial, Ifill "challenged for cause." Here's why.

A post this morning - Ifill's Obama-tanking no surprise - included this:

Fox’s Greta Van Susteren, who’s attorney, reports - -
I confirmed for us here on GretaWire: the McCain campaign did NOT know about Gwen Ifill’s book (I think I told them when I made my efforts - emails about midnight - to find out!) I am stunned….the campaign (actually both) should have been told before the campaign agreed to have her moderate. It simply is not fair - in law, this would create a mistrial. (second bold added by JinC)

In an email Ex -Prosecutor adds - - -

If this were a trial, Palin v. Biden, Gwen Ifill would be challenged for cause, namely that she has a financial stake in seeing that Senator Obama wins, in addition to her personal relationship with him. No way she could be on a jury, and this even would be with 11 others to temper her.

If the situation was reversed, and Ifill's book were about Sarah Palin, the first female vice-president, the Democrats would be screaming.

Michelle Malkin has a link to the video: ‘Gwen Ifill on Sarah Palin speech.’

In the video, Ifill said Gov. Palin belittled Obama at every chance, and other negative things, and never really discussed Gov. Palin. She was disdainful, and said Gov. Palin read her speech word for word. Isn't that a laugh?

Of course Ifill is not a racist, she is just another of the 98% of blacks voting for a black.

I am absolutely disgusted that taxpayers pay PBS to hire a hack like Ifill. She has no business moderating any debate that requires integrity.

Michelle Malkin writes: :“It’s not the color of your skin, sweetie. It’s the color of your politics.”

Ifill must be either

a.) Too prejudiced to see a perceived conflict of interest (it doesn't need to be real) or

b.) too stupid, or

c.) doesn't think anyone will notice, or

d.) thinks she can play a race card as trump.

No, not that Glenn

On Rush today a caller made the point:

This is not just an official who prefers one team over the other, this is an official with big money bet on the game.
