I'm the front-page editor of The News & Observer and I wanted to tender you an invitation. Reading over your blog, I thought you might be interested in sitting in on our afternoon news meeting. We often host guests for up to a week. If you'd like, you could hang around for a night shift and see how the sausage gets made.
It's good for readers to get a sense of what goes into making the paper, and good for us to hear from the readers.
