Nifong Hoax items later today

Wow! There sure is a lot of news out there about the Nifong Hoax implosion.

I want to make a few brief comments on some of the news items before going into lite blogging mode for Christmas.

But family and friends will here at noon for a brunch.

So its dust those counter tops and slice that ham.

I’ll be back with a few comments and some holiday wishes by mid-afternoon.

Merry Christmas, John. Thanks for all you have done to bring light.

A question - under North Carolina law, who is empowered to investigate a DA who may have committed a crime? Suppose evidence is available in the pubic arena that strongly suggests the DA has committed a crime. Is anyone in North Carolina charged with the obligation to investigate and develop evidence? If the evidence gathered makes it appear that the DA has committed a crime, who is authorized to bring the evidence before a grand jury or otherwise take steps so that the law in North Carolina is enforced against the DA?

Excellent question. There must be something citizens can do to see that a DA's crimes are investigated immediately.
