I'm a history buff who's skeptical of much that mainstream media tells us. I'm rooting hard for America and civilization.
If it's not so good, don't get down on yourself. Even President Obama has trouble with the language.

Hopeless and dangerous ignorant boob. He's been sporting that inappropriately large goofy-toothy grin on innumerable occasions during this trip overseas. It's like he's giddy and drunk. Maybe drunk on power.
One would think that an Ivy league graudate would know that German is the lingua franca of the Austrian nation. One would also think that those members of his administration who are supposed to prep him for his trips abroad would give him a "fact sheet" with basic information (such as which languages are spoken where) about the continent he is visiting. Obviously there is either the belief that "Obama knows all" or that the staff people in the administration are not doing their jobs. Either way, the president comes off as the typical "ugly" American. Perhaps, instead of apologizing about America's involvement in world affairs, he should apologize for the tone deaf antics of his administration of which his "Austrian" gaffe and the DVD gift to the British prime minister are just two examples.

Just think what the MSM would be saying if Dubya had said this. I guess it's only Republicans who can be pilloried by the media.

Once again, Tarheel Hawkeye is on the mark. Another definition to be added to the political dictionary. Republican "gaffes" are evidence of their inherent stupidity. Democrat "gaffes" - there is no such thing - Democrats are perfect.
