Sen. Clinton as a Libby defense witness?

(Welcome visitors from Michelle Malkin. )

The Associated Press is reporting Scotter Libby plans to use the lack-of-memory defense.

In that case, shouldn't he call Senator Hillary Clinton as a defense witness?

For 2 years, she couldn't remember where she had put her law firms records that investigators were seeking.

Then when someone found the records on a table in the White House, the then first lady couldn't think of any way they could have gotten there.

If you don't believe that, ask a liberal friend.

When you guys don't have any Clintons to bash when your guys get in trouble, what will you all do with your lives?

Either Libby is completely stupid, or he is covering something up. You think he wants to go to jail for 30 years or will he open up his mouth and start talking? I am hoping for the latter.

Anony(1) - I don't think it's basing to point out that Clinton (both of 'em) lied under oath to a grand jury.

It'a also not bashing to note that while a special prosecutor starts out with topic A (Whitewater) he often ends up on topic B (perjury).

anony(2) - I'm hoping Libby gets decent jail time if he really did lie serially to the grand jury.

More likely he'll get a Martha Stewart slap-on-the wrist or a Lil-Kim year and a day.

He's probably hoping for a Sandy Burger panting tho.
